  • Ribbon blenders are widely used for powder blending applications.
  • The requirement of ribbon blender is found in most of the industries ranging from Pharma,foods, cosmetics, chemicals etc.,
  • The blender is constructed with ‘ U ‘ trough made of SS / MS material
  • Ribbon profiles of different types are provided in the main shaft to provide thorough mixing
  • Design of ribbon profiles depends upon the product requirements
  • Forward and reverse helix continuous ribbons provide criss cross flow of material resulting in thorough m
  • Split ribbons of front and reverse sweeps provide gentle mixing. The power consumption in this case will be relatively lesser
  • Top of the blender will be covered with SS sheets or Polycarbonate windows
  • End seals are glanded or mechanically sealed
  • Bottom discharge is made of knife edge gate valves or Shutters or ball valves based on the product requirement
  • The discharge may be directly connected with screw conveyors for further applications like filling or grinding.
